Anger Management
Wraparound Services
Anger Management
Individual sessions are designed to help
participants learn the triggers for their anger and
develop coping skills that will improve their
strategies for handling anger. Services are designed for
people whose inability to control their anger affects
their ability to hold a job or maintain a relationship; or
leads to criminal justice involvement. The goal is for
each participant to develop and implement an anger
management plan that works for them.
Wraparound Services
Provided for children and youth in need of
expanded mental health services. Trained clinicians
and therapeutic support staff provide behavioral
health rehabilitative services in homes, schools and
community settings. Services are designed to alleviate
challenging behaviors by working with them directly
within the environments in which they occur.
Clinicians work with the individual child and the
adults in their lives to effect change. The goal is to
stabilize the child’s behavior and reduce the need for
specialized mental health services. Services include:
- Mobile Therapy in which a Masters Level Clinician provides individual and family therapy to resolve issues which may be creating behavioral difficulties. The clinician works with the child and their family in the home and school environment and includes other involved children and adults in treatment as appropriate and as specified by the treatment plan.
- Behavioral Consulting in which a Masters Level Clinician works with the family and/or school to create a behavior management plan for the child. This clinician creates the structure through which behavior is modified and works with the adults involved in the child’s life to help them incorporate the plan into their interactions with the child.
- Therapeutic Support Staff in which Bachelor level workers work one-to-one with the child to implement the behavior management plan. The worker accompanies the child to school, community activities and the home as prescribed by the treatment plan.
