Master’s Degree in a mental health field with at least one (1) year of experience in a child and adolescent mental health or chemical dependency setting, child welfare or juvenile justice setting or educational setting. PA license with at least (2) two year’s experience in child and adolescent mental health issues. Board certification in Child and Adolescent psychiatry preferable, Board eligibility required. Will require 4-6 hours per week of supervision and direction to CARE staff. Individual psychiatric evaluation as needed. Participation in bi-weekly team meetings and at least 1 hour per month in classroom observation and consultation.

Master’s Degree in a mental health discipline (MSW, Counseling, Psychology, etc.) or a degree, which contains at least 12 credits of psychology coursework. In order for a degree to count as a mental health degree, the degree must contain at least 12 credit hours in core behavioral coursework
(i.e. individual, group and family therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, psychopathology, child development, personality theory, etc). At least one (1) year of experience providing treatment in a mental health setting is also required.

An Associate’s Degree or 60 college credits requires a minimum of three (3) years paid work experience with children. Must have a valid driver’s license.

High school diploma, valid driver’s license, good driving record, minimum one (1) year experience working with mentally challenged children,demonstrated knowledge of behavioral modification systems and child development. Full-time and part-time. Must be able to work 3-11 shift and weekends.
