Merger News
Carson Valley Children's Aid is responding to the
challenge of funders for seamless access to services
for children, families and communities. Our new
organization will provide for integrated service delivery
within the nine neighborhoods in which we are located
in Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties.
The new Carson Valley Children’s Aid organization
is able to offer a continuum of care that is broad,
strong and responsive to the needs of children
and families.
The challenge to change has been issued and we
have met the challenge. We are able to offer:
- Services that are integrated along a
broad continuum.
- Access to services in nine neighborhoods.
- Programs that are accredited by the
Council on Accreditation.
- Provision of growth opportunities for
staff as emerging leaders.
The Boards, Staff and Executives of Carson Valley
Children's Aid believe:
"You will never stub your toe standing still.
The faster you go, the more chance there is of
stubbing that toe, but also the more chance of
getting somewhere!"
— Charles F. Kettering
Our Continuum of Care
Together, Carson Valley School and
Children's Aid Society are able
to create a broader, stronger and more
comprehensive continuum of care
than ever before. Traditionally, our
individual strengths have been in
different areas with very little overlap.
Now our services are integrated to
provide a more complementary array
of services available to children, youth
and families within the child welfare,
behavioral health, drug and alcohol
and prevention arenas.
Carson Valley Children's Aid has
created a comprehensive continuum
of care that reflects a commitment to
produce measurable outcomes for
dollars invested. That continuum
includes:
- Adoption Services
- After-School Programs
- Alternative Education
- Behavioral Health Services
- Drug and Alcohol Services
- Family and Individual Counseling
- Foster Care Programs
- Group Homes Programs
- In Home Services
- Neighborhood Centers
- Nursery School and Day Care Programs
- Parenting Education Programs
- Residential Treatment Services
- School Based Programs
- Transitional Housing/Shelter Services
- Truancy Services
- Youth Development Programs
