Our Mission
Make a measurable difference in the lives of children and families by providing hope, support, and services that also assist their neighborhoods to become safer and more stable.

Our Vision
Carson Valley Children’s Aid will utilize the skills and talents of its Staff and Board to create and sustain neighborhood-based systems of care and education for children, youth and families.

Our Core Values
  • RESPECT – We agree to respect the human rights and basic needs of individuals, families and communities.

  • INTEGRITY – We will adhere to the highest ethical standards and conduct in providing quality services by being fully accountable to families, communities and funders.

  • COMMITMENT –We are dedicated to taking action and achieving results that make a measurable difference in the lives of children and families we serve. We will maintain a creative spirit to influence public policy and develop programs that meet the needs of families and communities.

  • EMPOWERMENT – We believe in everyone’s ability to grow. We will provide the tools, support, guidance and advocacy to facilitate this process.

  • CULTURAL SENSITIVITY – We will consider our own biases and privileges when designing policies and delivering services. We will be culturally sensitive by respecting and valuing the diversity of staff and families served.

  • TEAMWORK – We will cooperate, share, assist and continually look for ways to create cohesiveness amongst staff, partners and the children and families we serve.
