We help each child discover and develop his or her own very special personality. At Carson Valley, we provide a secure nurturing place for children to learn, play, test themselves, and just enjoy each day. We feel strongly that children learn most effectively through play-oriented approach, which is one reason that concrete, hands-on activities are the focus of our daily curriculum. We believe that every child who enters our program is unique, component, resourceful and full of potential.

Our program is designed to enhance creativity, promote curiosity and foster the love of learning. We provide plenty of space to grow and play in a world planned especially for the children. Children explore indoors and out, make discoveries on their own or in groups.

Art, music, nursery rhymes, story time, science, cooking, dress-ups, playing house, pretending and playing outside, digging, climbing, sledding, swinging are the different activities in which the Carson Valley children participate.

Carson Valley School is a highly respected human services agency offering programs to children, youth and families. The Nursery School has been operating since 1925. In 1984, we began providing day care services to the surrounding Montgomery County community, including Springfield, Wyndmoor, Lafayette Hill, Chestnut Hill, Mt.Airy, Upper Dublin and Conshohocken areas.

Licensed to Serve Our Community

We are a State Licensed Nursery School and operate a Licensed Day Care Program. We operate 12 months of the year with a school program and summer camp.
