- Six historic cottages on our Flourtown campus are home to 90 children from Southeastern Pennsylvania. They are children who have emotional and social difficulties often as a result of abuse and severe neglect. While living at Carson, they receive special education and therapy in a caring and nurturing environment.
- Carson Valley School Educational Program provides special education to over 90 emotionally disturbed/behaviorally disordered students who have been placed into Residential placement at Carson Valley School. The school operates on a school year calendar of 180 days with six hours of instruction per day. The program is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an Act 30/316 P.R.R.I. to provide alternative education, special education, and day treatment services. Carson Valley School is licensed to serve both Elementary and Secondary students.
- The goal of the Day School Program is to provide intensive, relatively short-term educational and therapeutic services that enable the participating student to achieve a successful community adjustment.
